Frequently Asked Questions:

What forms do I need at check-in?
At check-in, you will need to bring a completed Universal Waiver Form. You can find that form listed above in the “Important Documents” section of this page.

You’ll also need to bring a copy of your physical (completed since June 1, 2019) or a completed Health Certificate.

What role does my guardian play in the registration process?
You can and should complete the registration process by yourself to ensure you’re most familiar with the program. That being said, your guardian needs to sign the Universal Permission Form, and you’ll bring that completed form to check-in.
What if I don't have a physical completed since June 1, 2019?
You’ll need to visit your local doctor and have a physical conducted. You may also have your doctor complete the Health Certificate. Either way: bring your physical or Health Certificate to check-in on May 24.
Do I make payment for Boys State when I register?
Typically, your school district or local American Legion Post make payment for your attendance at Arkansas Boys State; a member of your school staff should address this with you. You’ll need to indicate who is sponsoring you in your online registration.
What if my school isn't listed in the registration portal?
If your school is not listed in the registration portal, you can choose “OTHER” and manually input your school name. A member of our staff will verify your attendance at that school.

If you are homeschooled, choose “HOMESCHOOL”.

What's next after I complete online registration?
Once you’ve completed the online registration, you’ll need to make sure of a couple of things:

  • Have a physical or completed Health Certificate to bring with you to check-in on May 24.
  • Print the Universal Permission form, complete it, and bring that to check-in, too.
  • Keep an eye out on your inbox for more important Arkansas Boys State information.
